Overview
SIMON is a custom-built ERP platform developed for Student Work, a Canada-based organization focused on training and operating student-led businesses. Designed to support complex, multi-project operations, SIMON centralizes business workflows and accounting processes into a single system, helping businesses scale efficiently while maintaining operational clarity and financial accuracy.
The situation
Student Works manages hundreds of business projects operating in parallel, resulting in growing operational complexity. However:
Existing legacy systems were fragmented and built on outdated technologies, limiting scalability and increasing manual effort.
To streamline operations, they required an ERP platform built on a modern tech stack to manage complex business projects efficiently and scale with growth.
- SIMON ERP PLATFORM
- Accounting feature
The solution
Enosta designed and developed SIMON as a modular ERP system tailored to complex operational structures and evolving business needs.
SIMON ERP PLATFORM

Production Module: Handles job scheduling, team hours, payroll, invoicing, profitability tracking, complaints, workforce management, etc.
Resources Module: Assigns courses to roles/areas and tracks training progress

And other modules that manage statistics, appointment scheduling, lifetime client data, etc.
Flexible design to support multiple project types and scalable operations
SIMON accouting

Standard accounting modules including: Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Reconciliation
Improved calculation logic compared to legacy systems
Reduced manual workload for accounting teams

The process
SIMON progressed from concept to a production-ready platform through iterative development and continuous improvement.

The result
A more efficient system, built to grow over time
SIMON replaced legacy tools with a modern ERP platform, improving day-to-day efficiency while creating a solid foundation for long-term scalability.
